Create a new era(Yi Feng Wang)

In my eyes, this is a world of old tradition and new things. Every civilization has its own traditions so that they could survive for centuries. However, these traditions have been followed to some extense. I was suprisd after I reading"Choosing clothes, but not husbands", how come that an Afghan woman can not choose her own lover, and they should obey their parents? But when I look back in Chinese history, it is the same that women can not choose their husbands, all they have to do are waiting for the wedding day, and they can not even see their husbands before the wedding. Some people may say:"It is ridiculous, Why they can not choose their husbands?" I think we can not change the history, but why do not we create a new era? We can continue to use the outstanding tradition, and leave out the bad traditions. In the current world, there are still many unfair things, starvation, wars, discrimination and so on. In my opinion, the bad part of tradition give rise to them, and the others are caused by new things. In a word, old traditions have both positive side and negative side, we should take the good traditions, and leave out the bad traditions, and only in this way can we create a new era.
