Women=Men, When in Education and Marriage

Everyone has right to be educated, so do women. However, Afghanistan women have no right for school. Afghanistan man never considered that a well-educated mother can help him a lot!
Although I insist females are not equal to males, but I think women must have right to choose their husband.

“Afghan people can’t meet each other prior to getting engaged,” said a sixty-five-year-old mother of six who was taking English classes given by Women for Afghan Women. She asked that her name not be used because seeing her name in print made her uncomfortable. “It’s an embarrassment for the family.” The ridiculous, unreasonable tradition makes Afghan women self-contemptuous. Under years of engrafting servility, Afghan women even think they should not meet other men prior to getting engaged.

“The girl is a trophy piece,” said Ms. Mawjzada, the daughter of a coffee vendor who in addition to studying at Adelphi works in customer service at Geico insurance. “If the girl has a good reputation, the family has a good reputation.” What the logic it is? Girls are human beings, not stuff. They can’t be trophy pieces, thaose belonged to old time. Now, it is 21 century, let’s abolish the old ridiculous rules.

Education and marriege, these are two important things to society. I am still wondering why Afghan women have no rights for school and they can not choose a lover by themselves. It is ridiculous, they are not in primitive society, and they are in modern society, are not they?

Amarica is a country of freedom. We seldom saw inequality of females here. However, it still exists in flushing and some cities which are full of imigrations.
