Virginia Woolf's Words on Gender Issue

The history of men's opposition to women's emancipation is more interesting perhaps than the story of that emancipation itself. Virginia Woolf (1882-1941)

Today's "Quotation of the Day" is about gender issue. Most men won't admit they have any discrimination toward women. And people should admit that women have really succeeded in their emancipation.

Then is it out of date to mention the topic of gender discrimination today?

By the way, do you know who is Virginia Woolf? For this question, wikipedia might be a good starting point.
