Some women say that they have always had this ability to confide in one another—to talk freely.
What makes this difference between men and women? I don’t know. I think the reason for why women can talk like that it’s because women are sensitive and perceptual. Unlike most of the men who are rational. Women can easily get the feeling that the speaker want to express. When someone tells a heartbreaking story, women can imagine images of the story and feel the painful sense in their mind, and then women will sympathize with the speaker, listening to him quietly. It is also because of the sensibility women can recall their feelings when they are talking. They know how to represent their feeling into words. These ability really seems like natural for women.

Sense and sensibility
You are definitely right. Women live more on sensibility than on sense. Sometimes, even though the common sense tells them that this criminal deserves a death penalty, women might try to understand his behavior out of their sensibility.
However, it is this sensibility that make people human. Rationality, which men are strong at, makes people cruel; sensibility makes people weak. That is the reason women has to be weak, because they are more human.
