Choosing Clothes, but Not Husbands(Yingshan Hu)

"A good woman is one who is educated, both for her children and her society."

This quote is from “Choosing Clothes, but Not Husbands” by Joseph Berger. I very agree whit this sentence. I think the opinion of a good woman every person is not the same. But I think education is very important for women. Because a good education can improve person’s culture and open their mind. Even though people think now is a love freedom society, but some places still very traditional about love. This article is mention Afghan girls choose their husband by their parents. I think that is because they don’t have high education, and that is Afghan’s tradition. Some Afghan girls even though had high education, but they still choose their husbands by their parents. I hope it will be change in future.

If you educate women, you are educating the whole mankind.

If you want to give birth to a smart child, you and your wife should both be smart. If the whole society don't educate women, then the children will just half smart. If women are educated, the children will be double smarter. What big difference it will bring? It means if women is not educated, the children's intelligence will be only one-quarter of that of children with educated mum.

Is it such a complicated maths?
