HyunJu Ji : Hiding feelings is the other way of expression

I heard one woman describe men as the true Third World People
- Men and Their Hidden Feelings

Well, even I’m a woman I don’t think so that men are the Third World People.
I think some forced social role transformed men as the Third World People for a while and hiding feelings are another expression way to express their feelings.

Still lots of family depends on a household, usually a father in a family. After a man became an adult he should prepare a job and work hard for his future family. And after a marriage, most of men have no time for their selves. During that time, men have lots of colleague at work. However, colleagues are just colleagues who are in rival relationships at work. That’s a problem. Actually, men have lots of chances to meet people than women. But, finding a friend who can talk about their mind is difficult.

Like this processes in our society enforces men to hide their feelings in public. But, to think in different, men are victims of our society. Moreover, hiding their feelings are last resorts to protect them selves. In short, hiding feelings are another way of expression for men .

I love your logic (Leslie)

It's amazing to read your post and understand men's hiding feelings as another expression of feelings. It's another paradox but it's quite logical.

"Hiding their feelings are last resorts to protect them selves." It sounds sad but it might be true. I hope I can hear more response from men, though maybe they won't like this quote, "men are victims of our society." According to the author of the article, men are really the victims of social expectation to men. "Be a tough guy"
