Women's right: abuse women in human's history (yuting huang)

I always interesting about the abuse women in the human history. For example, the Foot binding in china, and at the Middle Ages the women wear the fitness wear and so on. I think this is a kind of abuse women. but in fact I want to know, how the women think about these things. Are they identify with this, or they hate this? In my paper. I will stress the foot binding about china women and the women wear the fitness wear in the middle ages, because my great-grandmother have this kind feet. and when i was young I heard a lot of things about Foot binding, and in my opinion the fitness wear is really bad for human's body. so, I will research this in my paper.
