There are obviously differences in Sunday on the road between the West and East. In the picture, Westerns do not hang out on Sunday because they do not want to disturb their own weekend. In addition, Westerns usually spend more time with their family and friends in their home. For example, in weekend, Westerns like to make a small parties, such as BBQ party or homecoming party. Moreover, they visit friends home to play games or to watch videos.
On the other hand, Asian people like to hang out with friends and family. In the picture, there are many Asian people in the road on Sunday. Because, in Asia, there are many entertainments on the streets, such as Karaokes, internet cafes, shopping shops, and restaurants, Asian people like to hang out on weekend. That is one of trends in Asia. In addition, Easterns think the entertaining is all the outside of house.

I agree with your opinion. I think Western people like to hang out in house and open the house party. These are their culture. On the other hand, Eastern people like to hang out outside. They think home is shelter. So I agree with your opinion and the picture.
