Outline of Essay3: Shota Takemura


Title: Nationalism

Purpose: To inform

Audience: Professor and Students

Point of view: My opinion

Thesis Statement: The nationalism is to gather the people to one and bind them. Therefore, it needs a kind of common points like race, religious, and the common historical background. And, the U.S. made the nationalism artificially and intentionally.

Introduction

- Culture all over the world is getting confused because of the globalization.

- Generally speaking, the nationalism comes from their culture or their racial consciousnesses.

-Although the U.S. is called the melting pot of many races, how do they create the nationalism?

Body

- About Figure1.

-An example about George Bush.

-An example about China

- The nationalism is created by the feeling to be proud of their countries.

-An example about Barack Obama.

Conclusion

- The nationalism is the identity. Therefore, once the country loses the identity, the nation cannot exist anymore.

The thesis statement says, US made nationalism artificially and intentionally. It seems a very attractive topic, and the picture is also great.

But the outline itself didn't show how US made nationalism and I wonder what the examples about Bush and Obama would be, and why there is also an example about China.

Then what is American Nationalism? why do you think it is artificial?

The body part is not well designed.
