What are those two pictures about? From your outline, I can hardly see any connection with the picture.
And what is Obama holding in his hand? It seems like his visit to China, what is that about?
Your thesis seems to be "American didn't change much". Then you are going to bring out all its problems which have been going on for ages, if not centuries.
It would be a good essay if you analyze those problems which American have never changed or solved in hundreds of years. Give specific examples.
