we are equal in the world (Yuan Xu)
Race discrimination has exsited fo very long time. The root of the problem is that diffrent race has diifferent backgroup and wold view. Sometimes racilist discriminates some poeple have diiferent skin- colour with it because it does not know the race well. The seperation made the unfamilirity and misunderstanding. There are many reasons which made the seperation. For example, the distance beteen diffrent area A and area B is so large, which made that the people in the two areas can not comunicate well. In that way, it is easy to get misunderstanding between the people in the different places. However, the situation is becoming better. Nowadays, the transportation is so good. It makes we can travel thousands miles in one day, which is only possible in the magic world many years ago. What is more, the morden technology provides us fantasy connect tools such as telephone, Internet. The great media improves the communication between different palces well. And there is a saying that the earth is a villege. Although high tech-knowleage bebifits us a lot, there still has discrimination beteen race. In the essay "A Slow walk of tress", we can read that the race discrimination exists hundred years ago and still being today. In my opinion, we are eqaul in the world, there is no inferior race. The different beteen us is different culture. We should try to communicateeach other in this golobe world.

There is no inferiority, but difference (leslie)
You are absolutely right. Actually no one has any right to judge what is superior and what is inferior. What we should notice and feel amazed at is difference or diversity. Eating herbs coming directly from nature doesn't make it infeior to eating hamburger coming from a microwave. On the contrary, nowadays people pay much more on herbs than on hamburger.
What is problematic is the judgmental mindset of people when they see something different from their own. Therefore, we should learn to understand and accept difference and give no judgment.
