Actually, I really don't believe the dating on the Internet. I think Inter net is a visional world. I think most things on the internet are suspected, especially the internet dating that mentioned in this passage. Internet is really popular nowadays. But people on the internet often put the untrue information, including the age and the picture. The work pressure is developing now. People try to make friends on the internet, but internet is just a technical means. We can not know a real person just through the network. I think network is only a spiritual sustenance.
I hope the society will think of a rule that can constrict as soon as possible especially the cheating on the internet

Actually it is not online dating which makes it dangerous, but real-life meeting after online dating is more dangerous, if all is based on lies or lust.
As you said, many people start online chatting for a real friend or love, but their sincerity might be ill-treated, if not cheated, by some wicked people.
Who can control it and secure internet?
It is a big issue.
