Racialism is a complicated problem in America for quite a long time.People in America prefer to accord differing social and treatment based on skin color.The black people can not do the same thing as well as the white people.The author wrote those sentences to represent that they are human beings though they are blacks.They should have the same treatment,they should have the same opportunities and they should get the same respects.The society couldn't seprate them from the skin color,both of the blacks and the whites are loving their lives;they are supposed to have the same hobbies and the same wisdom,they can do the same job as well as others.

Everyone knows it, but blacks are still taken as blacks only.
Everyone in this country is aware that blacks are also human, but look at their long-term struggles, and all those famous writings about blacks, the society still takes them as black, though people on the whole is starting to change. It needs time to fix it, but who knows how long the time should be?
If someone says that the situation has already been changed, then why the group being discriminated is becoming bigger and bigger with more races, such as Arabs, Asians, etc.
