Obviously, this sentence shows a kind of prejudice on black males. Why young black males must be a criminal? We cannot judge some people based on their appearance. I heard a story which is about a boxer. He is a Mexican and his stature is as big as a boxer. What is more he has a scar on his face. So he always be treated like a bad guy but actually he is a nice man. The scar on his face was because when he wants to save a baby in a firing house, a wood hit his face. Finally, people change their thought to the boxer because of the good things he have done.
I want to say that, if only young black males make more and more contributions to this world, people will change their mind to them. I believe so.

Eyes are the root.
If we say people always get distorted impression by judging a person with eyes, then we should suggest everyone to close their eyes at the first "sight" of a person.
Actually the root is the way for people to judge anyone as inferior or superior to them. For example, whether he is richer, or younger, or prettier, or smarter, etc., than me. Why do we need these judgment when we contact with each other? Will our attitude toward them change after shaping a certain judgment in mind? If so, that's the root of prejudice.

actually this is the people's instinct that they use their eyes to have the impression on others first. but i believe that if people can try to use their heart to experience more,they could find out something differently......

In my experience, usually I use eyes to observe people. because that is true what I have observed. personally, I think observe peopley by eves is a esay and good way to know people.
