It's not the skin color's fault. It is the prejudice making people fear something which they shouldn't fear.What makes the author care so much about his color and show off his education background?

Where is your quote?
Remember this is quote and comment? Therefore, always put a quote first and make comments on it or on the whole article.
It deserves us to think further why this guy is so eager to show off his education and his decent jobs. Ususally people wants to show off what they have when they just a little. If they really have abundant fortune, or knowledge, etc, they don't feel necessary to show them off to other people.
