I agree with the writer. There are so many unfair things and discrimination in the world, what will the world be if every victim use violent to fight back.
Violent can not help those victim root and branch. Violent will SET THEM BACK by contraries. Take Bin Laden for example, he use terrorism to fight back, but he have not get what he want, what he did set Middle East people back. What he did put Arab people all around the world in a worse situation .
That is why I agree with the writer --- do not use violent. In my opinion, we can use communication to solve problems.

Violence always comes when communication fails
You are righ that it is always better to communicate than take any violent revenge. However, maybe everyone finds that communication sometimes seems so difficult, especially smooth one. To some people, you just feel the communication is just impossible. So what should come next when communication fails?
Further and more communication? Or just make it simple, to use violence to force you to listen to me.
I agree with you on this point. Violent can not heip those victim root and branch. Violent will set them back as Bin Laden. However It is not easy what we just use communication to solve problems. We need to find more specific ways.

i totally agreed with what you said Shuhui Wang. We can take example of the president Bush also because he did not need to fight again with the Iraq people.I know that his intention was to grab the oil wells over there but he couldn't find anything and i would probably say that he just wasted 440 Billion dollars, such a huge amount of money in the battle of Iraq. By doing so, he put his country into danger and right now the US economic position is down. It's under recession and the unemployment ratio rose from 4 to 6%. People are suffering from the stressful situations because they don't have money. Many homes were foreclosed. That is why we should always avoid violent acts and we should communicate with each other to find the solutions and I personally believe that there is no such things in the world exists whose solution can not be found.
You are right.Violent will set our world back. It can not be the best way to figure out war, oil problem, racialism and so on. Amicable and jarless development is the best way to figure out the situation, but it's not a easy thing for us.
I really agree with your opinion. When people are treated by racialism, some of them will use violent to release their anger. but actually it can change nothing. Even it will lead to more serious effect. So I think we should treat everyone equally and we can do it in our daily life. Maybe just one people can not change something, if all of the people on campus, all of the people in America, even all of the people in the world, that can change everything.
You are right, I absolutely agree with you. Violence is not a good way to solve problem, but some people still believe violence can solve problem. When communication cannot solve problem or it fails, violence it would be come. I know sometimes communication is difficult, but I believe not all problems can solve by violence, we also can find another good ways to solve them, except violence. Violent act sets us back.
I am totally with you. Violece is not a solution, and it will never one. I think only uneducated people use violence, so when I read the sentense "EVERY VIOLENT ACT SETS US BACK. SETS US BACK. SAY IT LOUDER" at the first time. I think the writer might mean the violent act bring us back to the uneducated period. And therefore, I clearly understand the meaning after the Professor interpreted it to me. Anyway, using violent act as a solution is an unfavorable idea, I hope no one is going to use violence as a solution in the world.
