Topic: Discrimination in Hollywood Movies
Outline
Introduction; Definition of discrimination
Thetis statement; it seems that people in the United States are getting integrated and have overcome the problem of racial discrimination. However, major movie companies still do not make movie whose main characters are African Americans. It can be seen that movies reflect racial stereotype in our image.
Body 1; example of the latest movie which directly shows racial discrimination.
Body 2: example of the latest movie which indirectly shows racism
Conclusion; All movie producers have to care about is to make movies which can produce profits. It is hard to decide whether racism in movie has its roots in public conscious or movie industry.

Give some details what are those examples as well as what kind of racial discrimination you are going to talk about.

Just discrimination to blacks? or to other groups, too.

In some movies, some negative parts are always given to non-white people, such as criminals, drug dealers, rapists, some funny roles, while most positive roles are white, for example, the heroes who save the country, the world, the planet, or in romance stories.

Few movies about racial discrimination, few movies about minorities, few movies about positive sides of non-white people, etc.

Your topic is interesting, there hasn’t different between people. America still has some prejudice, if we see it from different view. I think this problem is solvable, but it depends on people’s mind. By the way, I think we need to write “10” page paper. Are you ok to write the paper from this out-line?

Oh! I like that topic~! I like Hollywood Movies and I have same point of view with you. Make profit is the first aim for each producer. So the theme is very important for them, a good theme can let their movie get full of attention and finally succeed. There are so many things that they must think about. So, they can't avoid discrimination during the making process of movie.
