Different cultures make people have different backgrounds. In Western culture, as a gentleman you should be seigniors to all the ladies, even you are sixty years old you still need to carry your bag by yourself but would not let a young lady carry it for you. In China, young people should help those people who are old then you whether you are a boy or a girl. It is a way for Chinese people showing that they are devoir for grand old man. There are many of the Cultural conflicts between western and eastern countries, I think I am going to work for this topic about the habit differences between western and eastern cultures.
