From this picture, we can see the Westerner think ways like a "straight line" and The Easterner's look like "complicated curve". I agree with this opinion but not totally. For example, Easterners always like save money, because they think if someday they get a serious sick or their companies bankruptcy, they will use these money to make a living.They are focus on the future.And the Westerners are thinking about "today. If they earn a lot of money ,they will buy a house and car. They don't care about "tomorrow".They just run out their money and enjoy their life.
Nowdays, their minds are changing. After the "economic crisis" , more and more westerners started to save their money because they aware of they can't overdraft anymore and they must save money to make a living.And now in east country , many people like to talk business with a frank or straightforward person.However, why the easterners don't speak straightly? In my opinion, Easterners are implicit. They always care about their decency,When they talk to each other, they always think a lot, because they don't want to hurt someone's decency.

Eastern people control themselves from talking too frankly, so they don't express their emotion or opinion completely, which actually brings more troubles in understanding and communication. Westerners tend to be straightforward since even when you tell 100% what you think, there should be some misunderstanding occurring among people, so they never hold back their words.
It's impossible to say one is better than the other, since sometimes we do need to be straightforward, and sometimes we do hope others can be more considerate.
That's why we say any generalization or conclusion is relative, and should not be accepted as absolute truth. That's the same attitude I encourage you have when writing critique.
