The Thanks Giving. Shota Takemura

This story is about a family on Thanks Giving Day. The writer invites her parents to come to her house in NY. However, their relationship is not good. They usually don't talk much. and, it's common for them to spend that time separately. The last year, they watched movies to kill the time to talk with each other. But, this year, they can't go to see the movie because her sister brings her son. Thanks to him, they don't need to feel uncomfortable.

In Japan, we don't have the Thanks Giving Day. But, we meet together on the New Year's Day. I think we need the opportunity to meet together a year because if we live separately, we can't know the current situation of each other.
