The world is like global village. It is found with many kinds of culture. Hollywood is also. The cultures are from all over the world. It got the most interesting parts of their cultures. That’s the reason why it is successful. America popular culture is close to the global village culture. It made with so many kinds of elements. They share their dreams, their hopes, powers even weather here. Hollywood is a part of American culture. It gets all the advantages from others, like Hong Kong movies, Japan movies. It’s successful and consequential.
Why it is so successful, because it got lots of supply sides. No matter economies or cultures. Now, foreign markets also depend on American formulas, like westerns, action heroes, rock music, and hip-hop. But they just copy for each other. Still didn’t get anything new. So they can exceed Hollywood and American entertainment.
Not only the supply side. Here still has demand side. But it won’t suffice to explain global culture. American popular culture isn’t uniquely formulaic or transportable. Let’s think about how many possible resources are helpful. Like ads, new subjects.
However, we should stay on our culture and get some advantage from others, not just copy without thinking. Try to get some new ideas and we could be better.
