　 Walk in the night

Her name is Hiroko. She is an ordinary student in ordinary school. She did everything on an average; her scores for the exams were always on an average, and she could do sports as ordinary people do. She stayed in high school for two years, so she totally got used to her school life. She woke up at the certain time everyday and just goes to school and met same people every day. She had been feeling everyday is the same. She could not find any change in her life and had been feeling bored. She knew that the time in high school must be really precious in her life and in her memory in the future, but she could not feel she was spending special time at the time.
She had a best friend whose name is Mami. They had been friends since they got entered the school. Before she enrolled to the school in Tokyo, Hiromi had lived in Okayama. Her father had to move to Tokyo because of his job, so she needed to move. When April when the beginning of the school year had just started, she did not know anything about Tokyo. When she was nervous to everything in her new life, Hiroko met Mami. She was the first friend for Hiroko there, and she helped Hiroko a lot. Because of her Hiroko could get used to the new environment soon.
However, they could not see each other very much. Hiroko had gotten one acceptance from college already, but Mami was still really busy to study for the entrance examination for college. Mami commuted to cram school every day, so she got new small society other than school, and Hiroko also got many friends other than Mami. So recently the life without her became ordinary to them.
One day in the cold winter, she got bad news that her old teacher died. She has not been taught by him for two years, so she had almost forgotten about him. She went to him funeral the day after she heard the news. In that funeral, many of her friends including Mami came for him. Mami and Hiroko met there. Their houses located really close, so after the funeral, they went back to home together. On the way to go back, they tried to remember the memories of the teacher and tried to talk about him because that is the one way to hope him to go to heaven. When they started talk about him, it was a little bit uncomfortable for them to talk because they haven’t had long conversation for a while. While Hiroko tried to remember and talked about the old memories with the teacher, she started remember whole memories in the high school. Mami also remember her memories from two years ago and until now. Two girls started to talk about their whole school life. It was not intended, but both of them walked very slowly and kept talking, talking, talking. While they were talking, they remembered more and more stuff. Although she had been feeling bored to her school life, as Hiroko talked with Mami, she realized every small things which shared with her friends were her precious memories and she felt like the time she had in this three years is a treasure. When she arrived to her home, she could feel her way to think was changed a little bit. She decided to cherish her rest of her short school life because it cannot be held again. This walk in the night was her longest walk which she ever had, and this also became one of her unforgettable memories in her life.
