We are not totally equal NOW(Jiran Qiu)

From the article i knew people were unequal because of gender in some countries. I saw a lot of movies about family life reflected the relationship between men and women is unequal. The men made money for families and the women stayed home, do some houseword and had much lower social status than men. And, men had right to choose their wives but women can't decide who to marry. But now the situation gets much better. Women can work as well as men and have good social identities even better then men. However, in China, a fraction of people are more willing to have a son. Their ideas are probably staying 25 years ago. They see sons as the best present given by god and feel ashamed when having daughter. I have to say that a kind of ugly social phenomenon nowadays.
