photos leave memory

When I was born, photography has been existed for a long time. But what is it? Photography is the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation in Wikipedia’s definition. Photo is art that can leave the momentary feeling, can record your happiness and sadness. Every time when I saw the photos, they can recall me to think of at that time, friends and events. Keeping the moment of happiness and let the memory to think of the past experience. This is your integral part of enriching life. Photo is for the memory and in order to remember. Photo is a great thing, it’s no words, but has feelings. Occasionally, you will smile when you see photo’s innocent smiles. Childish innocence, young clinging, today's release, all the changes are in the ornament of picture frame, it has different period of self. You may look up the walls, says "ha! So then I was."

Test help us

As a student, we could not escape from the examination system; once you feel pressure, you may have power to study. After all the country's economy to develop, the key is to rely on talent, they must depend on education. So, good education means how to measure students’ achievements---tests become the necessary fact in life. “They protect us most of the time---from inept drivers, hazardous products, and shoddy professionals” (Ravitch806). If we eat the food that didn’t do the standards test, then all of us who did eat the no test food would have problem with our healthy. So, tests do protect us from tests’ own meaning. And tests help us for getting license, learning new things.

Hi, dear classmates
There’s something that I wanna share with you guys. Especially some students from other country.
In China, we believe that a good name may influence ones fate. My name is Minghong Wang. Wang is my family name, and this is a big family name in China ( like Smith, William, ). In Chinese, this word of Wang means king and power. Minghong is my first name. Actually, these are two words, Ming means tomorrow and Hong means rainbow in Chinese. So tomorrow's rainbow is my name's significance. I got this name from my grandmother, she wants me to never give up and always have hope. To my family, my name is full of joy. There is a rainbow, for my family and me. To my community, it means tomorrow's sunshine. It's a very positive name. I also feel my name suit me so much for my personality. Rainbow always show up after the rain. We must persist in our efforts, then we can see the rainbow. In addition to my name, I also have a nickname. My parents call me Xiao Honghong, the meaning of this is little baby. Finally, I want to talk about my English name, Joy. I choose it from my Chinese name's meaning. My family want me to bring joy for family.
If you are interested in this, you can leave your comments about any other special meaning of your name.

Some approaches to MLA work cited

Hi, everyone.
I know that MLA work cited is really painful if you are not used to it...
Also, I was struggling with citation for a long time. Throughout that painful times, I learned some shortcuts, which lessens your burdens for citation.

1) What you've found is part of academic journal or magazine, or even books. Futhermore, you can cite sources from newspapers such as NYTIMES in here...
Go to
http://proquest.umi.com/pqdweb?RQT=302&COPT=REJTPTEwMmEmSU5UPTAmVkVSPTI=&clientId=18091&cfc=1

And type either title of the journal or author of the journal. If you want to search author of the journal, you have to change "citation and abstract" into the "author"

Then, after you type, you will see the "cite this" in the far below of the website.
The computer program will make a right citation form for you.

2) If you're resources are from website, then you should go to
http://www2.liu.edu/cwis/cwp/library/workshop/citmla.htm

This website will help you to write down MLA citation in a right form...

Racial Profiling and Vigilantism

Vigilantism consists of self-appointed citizens taking the law into their own hands by "arresting," convicting, and punishing an accused person.

Racial profiling is the use of a person's race or ethnicity by law enforcement or security officials as a factor in deciding whether to investigate that person or engage in enforcement (search someone at an airport security checkpoint, make a traffic stop or arrest, etc).

By defintion, racial profiling is a form of racism; not so with vigilantism. Vigilantes typically attempt to conceal their identity, hence the masks and robes used by the Ku Klux Klan.
